| The youth are NOT considered the future church here at Rejoice. They ARE the church of today. Youth are encouraged to participate in all aspects of life in the church and in the world. They are challenged to share God's word and be living examples of the gospel. Each Sunday they meet weekly for Bible Study, activities and/or service projects. All youth are encouraged to pray faithfully and community prayers are led by different youth each week. The focus is to gain solid biblical foundations and leadership skills to be committed disciples of Jesus Christ. The result is fun and real life application of their faith. From sleepovers to free car washes, the youth are a community of believers growing in their faith together as they learn to care for God's creation. God's purpose for Rejoice is to enthusiastically pray, care and share God's grace with others. |
